What You’ll Do- Drive rapid business growth through process standardization and strategic outsourced partnership and fundamentally change the way business processes are driven.
- This role requires managing the general ledger for Cisco's APJC /EMEA entities through strategic outsourcing partners.
- Would be the process owner for functions like Fixed Assets Accounting, Opex Accounting, Payroll Accounting, Cash and Bank Accounting, Inter-Company Accounting, Revenue Accounting etc.,
- Would be the primary point of contact for the corporate controller's group for all deliverable handled through outsourced partner for the given function / process.
- Responsible for planning and driving book close activities for the month end, liaising with the operations team to provide necessary inputs to outsourcing partners.
- Review of journal entries, reconciliations, and other GL related deliverables.
- Participate in postmortem reviews for the said function/process and monitoring the operational metrics & SLAs.
- Identify/fix process gaps and drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
Who You’ll work withIn this role, you will work with strategic partners including Senior Accountants, Treasury, Taxation teams, other operational teams like AP, AR, Payroll etc.,
Minimum Qualifications Minimum requirements:
- B.com/ M.com / Qualified CA (with2- to 3 years of exp)
- 5-8 years of working experience in accounting operations, within process oriented and ERP driven MNC environment.
- Sound Accounting knowledge and Working knowledge of US GAAP, Excel and other Finance tools (ERP, Office etc.,)
- Good analytical and interpersonal skills with strong and effective communication skills
Desired Skills- Exposure to Oracle / SAP accounting modules, RPAs, and other finance automation systems
