Minimum Qualifications
- B.S. or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Audio Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Music Technology, or equivalent experience
- 3-5+ years of experience related to software development and/or testing
- Familiarity with real-time audio handling (sample rates, buffering, PCM, drivers, etc.)
- Strong problem solving and debugging skills
- Exemplary written communication skills, and considerate, yet confident personal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- A foundational understanding of electronics, audio technology, and recording studios
- Analysis capabilities related to CPU performance and memory debugging
- Experience and familiarity with Python, JavaScript, or other scripting languages
- CoreAudio API experience is a plus
- AI/ML experience is a plus
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
