This individual will support the creation of resolution plans in the UK/Europe and be responsible for executing Operations and Technology owned capability tests described in the plan.

The Senior Analyst will predominantly support Operational Continuity in Resolution requirements, responsible for producing detailed analyses, written documentation, and management presentations for Citi’s Resolution Plan submissions to regulators in the UK and Europe. The Analyst works independently as well as collaborating or leading cross functional teams to meet resolution planning regulatory requirements.

What you’ll do

The overall objective of this role is to evaluate complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, and to thoughtfully develop a sustainable solution.

  • Produce detailed analyses, written documents, and management presentations, working independently, collaborating in teams, or leading teams.
  • Support the testing of resolution capabilities, which requires coordination across Operations and Technology teams, documentation of outcomes, and summarization into management updates.
  • Develop resolution plan procedure documents (playbooks) and describe process flows used for executing plans
  • Collaborative approach - must be able to work closely with senior business sponsors and promote consensus decisions that are right for the organization.
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

What we’ll need from you

  • Experience in working in a Financial Services organization with time spent working in Operations and Technology.
  • Understanding of one of the areas listed - Operational Resilience, Third Party Management, Resolution Planning, Recovery Planning.
  • Experience working with internal/external audit/regulatory groups is preferred.
  • Advanced project management, data analysis and reporting ability; with a good understanding of supporting technologies (applications, reporting tools, and data presentation).
  • Bachelor's/Universitydegree, master’s degree preferred.
