- Participate in the development of software for our next generation network operating systems for Cisco’s industry leading N9K family of datacenter switches.
- Write complete functional and design specs and can design & develop large portions of software
- Working on forwarding software on L2/L3/ multicast/Vxlan areas
- Bachelor's in a STEM field with 3 years of experience, or a Master's with 1 years
- Programming experience with C and Python
- Knowledge of OS and system architecture
- Experience with high availability related to switch/router products
- Experience with VxLAN and Multicast protocols
- Networking knowledge is a plus
- Scripting experience with Python for UT automation
- Experience with switch/router embedded system software development, kernel drivers
