- Driving and developing departmental continuous improvement initiatives and support implementation.
- Operation of environmental test chambers (Thermal cycling, vacuum, HALT/HASS.) Lead process work and review output for quality and adherence to standards and procedures
- Assemble tooling and assist with equipment maintenance.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years relevant high traceability manufacturing experience (Aerospace / Medical, etc.)
- 3+ years of hands-on work in test lab environment, using basic hand tools
- 3+ years experience in a fast-paced production environment with Flight Hardware
- Minimum 3 years of environmental test experience performing at least one of the following:
Vibration Testing
Shock Testing
Acoustic Testing
Thermal Testing
Thermal Vacuum Testing


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years prior leadership experience, to include leading teams, projects or people
- Experience bringing teams and processes from development to production
- Able to read, interpret and work from engineering documentation and/ or drawings
- Experience working with FOD, ESD sensitive hardware and clean room requirements
- Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment
- Ability to prioritize work in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Proper use and understanding of DMM, torque wrenches, calipers, and other type of measuring devices.
- Experience installing instrumentation such as accelerometers, thermocouples etc.
- Understanding of 5S and lean principles.Additional Requirements:
- Willing to work all shifts, overtime and weekends as needed. Estimated shift time: 5:00PM-5:30AM, Friday-Sunday. Shift will vary, depending on program needs
- Standing for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position
- Willing to move between locations depending on program needs
- Able to lift up to 25lbs. unassisted
