Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of people management experience leading engineering teams

These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of developers, applying Microsoft’s management values of Coach, Model, Care in defining business critical outcomes, defining a plan of action for your team, and supporting your team in achieving those outcomes
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, design reviews, feedback on product strategy, and prioritization of capabilities
  
• Learn the needs and business of Microsoft defenders, and how the broader Microsoft security organization relies on automated attacks to continuously improve defensive capabilities
• Support the development of your team, by guiding their skills and career growth, cultivating engagement, and ensuring overall team effectiveness
• Set and maintain the team culture of reliable, sustainable, high-quality delivery
• Ensure Microsoft continues to improve security through authentic red team attacks
