• Be able to work in multidisciplinary team perform electronics system development, schematic design, circuit simulation, detailed design, verification testing & interfacing with cross functional teams while meeting the requirements.
• Coordinate team efforts of interdisciplinary engineers (Mechanical, Firmware, ECAD, Evaluation) for design of product and potential risk identification.
• Perform design analysis results (stress, tolerance, error budgeting, timing, power etc.) and provide technical expertise for design trade off.
• Design the electrical architecture of SIL2 IEC 61508 product considering the usability, functionality, regulatory and compliance aspects
• Work with operations and supply chain to ensure manufacturability of the product and participate in production test equipment development and design transfer activities.
• Additional responsibilities include proof of concept firmware development, data acquisition software applications, technical report generation, documentation & progress reporting.
• Maintain high quality documentation of the entire design as required by quality organization.
• Perform hands-on work in the lab, as required.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand use cases to create detailed designs outlining details for implementation.

Skills

• Ability to develop embedded programs in C-language
• Knowledge of six sigma principles in product design & development.
• Prefer working experience with analog sensor signal conditioning circuits with micro-controllers / processor integration
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).

• B.E. degree in Electronics or equivalent practical experience
• Hands on experience with microprocessor-based systems, analog & digital system design, power supply design.
• Experience in end-to-end qualification testing for compliance and solving EMI issues to meet the required standards.
• In-depth knowledge of standards such as IEC/EN 62368-1 HBSE Standard, MOOP, MOPP, isolation & clearance requirements, product design per safety requirements and compliance.
• Minimum two complete product development life cycle experience (initiation, POC, design validation, launch and post release maintenance).
• Good knowledge of various communication protocols such as USB, DDR, SGMII, HDMI, SPI, and I2C. Exposure to Wireless Interfaces like WiFi and BLE
• Hands on experience withcircuits design and error budgeting

Preferred Qualifications

• 10 – 15 years of relevant industry experience.
• Ability to automate data acquisition tasks with PC software like LabVIEW or Python
• Ability to statistically analyze data with software tools like MS Excel/ MATLAB/ Minitab.
• Proven results-oriented individual with focus on customer experience and delivering quality products.
• Exposure to DIN VDE 8034 and UL1609 for information system and nurse call system and CE compliance is a plus.
• Knowledge of Medicaldevices standard IEC 60601-1 based compliance and IEC/EN 61000-XX-XX seriesEMI/EMC standards for ITE(Information technology equipment’s) is desired
