Design, develop, test, and deploy custom applications and extensions using Workday Extend, including Workday Studio, Orchestrations, Workday APIs, and related technologies.
Collaborate with HR business partners, product owners, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and ensure solutions align with business needs.
Deliver solutions in Workday across HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll and Benefits through efficient and organized processes while maintaining high standards
Develop and maintain integrations between Workday and other internal/external systems using Workday Studio, Orchestrations, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, and other integration tools.
Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure high-quality and defect-free solutions.
Document technical designs, development processes, and support procedures.
Effectively communicate across team, Product Owner, stakeholders and influence solutions across business partners
Identify opportunities for process improvements, collaborate with HR partners to provide innovative ideas and insights to redesign business processes that will optimize business results.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
At least 4 years experience in platform engineering on HR platforms (Workday, Peoplesoft, or Successfactors)
At least 2 years of experience designing and developing integration solutions
At least 2 years of experience working with APIs within the Workday environment using REST or SOAP
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
5+ years of experience working with Workday Human Resources modules including HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting or Talent and Performance Management
3+ years of experience designing and developing integration solutions in Workday using Core Connectors, Workday Studio, Custom Reports or RaaS solutions
3+ years of experience working with APIs within the Workday environment using REST or SOAP
Workday Integration Developer certifications
1+ years of experience designing and developing solutions using Workday Extend
1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure or another cloud service
2+ years of experience in Agile practices
