Job responsibilities
- Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
- Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
- Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
- Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
- Manage standard content for accuracy, readability and positioning by working with subject matter experts to update or enhance content used for client-facing documents (RFP, product sales materials and other miscellaneous content) across multiple content management systems
- Manages content review cycles to ensure content is reviewed regularly and updated to maintain accuracy
- Manages ad hoc, off cycle updates and corrections to content
- Makes decisions that require independent thought/action, but are guided by policies or established practices
- Works with subject matter experts to collaborate in the creation and management of content
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
- Excellent business writing, communication, grammar, interpersonal and organizational skills are essential
- Ability to interact, influence and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Word and PowerPoint proficiency required
- High level of independence, energy and integrity, demonstrates respect for a diversity of opinions and styles, and accepts accountability
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
- Understand Adobe Experience Manager and working knowledge of Content Management System
- Project management skills a plus
- Great leadership and management skillset
