We are looking for talented Software Development Manager who can deliver world-class solutions. Successful candidates for this position need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to multi-task, the ability to translate business requirements to engineering requirements, the ability adapt quickly to new environments and using creativity to solve difficult problems in a world-class engineering team.Key job responsibilities
• Responsible for the overall product development life cycle
• Management and execution against project plans and delivery commitments
• Manage the day-to-day activities of the engineering team within an Agile/Scrum environment
• Management of team resources, hiring, mentoring, and enhancing and maintaining a world class engineering team
• Work closely with the engineers in a design-first methodology to architect and develop the best technical design and approach that embodies Operational Excellence
• Partnering with software development and design teams to deliver on product and services roadmap.
• Lead automation efforts for a team advancing a service ownership culture.
• Accountable for identifying commonalities across reported customer incidents and drive root cause efforts to understand and resolve these problems.A day in the life

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years of engineering experience
- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
