Your day to day:
Develop clean, maintainable, high-quality Java code
Take ownership of the delivery – your own, and your peer engineers in the team
Design, build, deploy, andmaintainservices powering PayPal’s customer experiences
Collaborate with other skilled and motivated engineers on the team (Java Backend, iOS,Androidand QA) as well as product and design to deliver a world-class experience

What do you need to bring:
4 + years of experience
Practical experience of developing back-end services in Java and/orKotlin
Focus ondelivery,attention todetail and quality oftheend result
Practical experience ofdesigning,buildingandmaintainingdistributed systems in a cloud-native environment
Experience working in an agile development team, using common tools likeJiraand GitHub
Examples of growing yourself and/or people around you – learning from others and sharing your knowledge,experiencesand opinions.
Experience in cloud infrastructure (we primarily use AWS).
Experience from fintech or retail sectors is a plus.
