Your key responsibilities
- Working closely with business teams and EY Global internal finance, tax, talent, risk management, GCO and other teams to provide legal advice on a variety of transactions including corporate reorganisations and establishment of new businesses.
- Advising on corporate governance issues including new legal developments.
- Providing corporate secretarial support (including preparing the necessary corporate and other approvals) and support on regulatory compliance matters including reporting requirements and oversight of work performed by the GCO’s entity management team based in India.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating various contracts and other documentation with third parties.
- Instructing and working with external counsel.
- Contributing to internal guidance, best practice and templates.
- Actively collaborating and positively teaming with fellow members of the Global TPG team, a highly collaborative team of lawyers who support and advise across EY, as well as with other GCO teams and internal functions such as internal tax and finance.

To qualify for the role you must have:
- At least 8 years post-qualification, corporate law and corporate governance experience (ideally UK or other common law experience), gained in private practice (ideally from a large international law firm or a UK firm with exposure to cross border transactions).
- Substantial experience in conducting transactions on a cross border basis, including strong project management and negotiation skills.
- Ability to provide practical legal advice and support with a high degree of professionalism in a fast-paced environment and to establish a high degree of credibility, respect and trust at all levels.
