About the job

Responsible for documentation of business requirements, functional design, data governance, test cases and executing E2E Tests.

*Telecommuting permitted: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the Red Hat, Inc. office in Raleigh, NC.

What you will do

  • Responsible for aligning business goals to the strategic system capabilities by working directly with senior leaders and subject matter experts in Red Hat’s Partner, Sales IT and Enterprise Integration teams.

  • Consult with business leaders to facilitate and collaborate on business outcomes related to strategy, objectives, business value, and ROI.

  • Responsible for creating detailed business case diagrams, business architecture models, use cases, business process flows and supporting documentation on system operational flows to define continuous improvement opportunities utilizing six sigma and agile practices.

  • Consult, deliver, and support IT services and software applications, including new features, customization, configuration, enhancements, and bugs.

  • Clearly define the scope of an actionable project, working in tandem with key stakeholders, project managers, and program leads.

  • Document issues and provide supporting documentation to the organization to illustrate current state and problems and define a future state.

  • Responsible for supporting project planning and lead software engineers and testers to execute test cases.

  • Responsible for interviewing business users and operational teams and producing detailed process flows and future state diagrams.

The salary range for this position is $120,661 - $134,150/ year. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related role.

  • Must have five (5) years of experience with: business (functional and technical) requirements elicitation and documentation; developing, documenting and revising system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards; defining system goals and process flows describing logical operational steps of programs and processes; defining business goals and requirements with an understanding of Agile Practices; interviewing subject matter experts and business leaders to determine what information is processed and document how it is processed; and consulting in user acceptance and other forms of system testing.
