JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and engineer hardware applications, control drawings, valve sizing, control device selection, damper sizing, and schedules.
  • Communicate technical concepts and solutions to internal and external customers, conducting site walks, reviewing customer specifications, and identifying opportunities, risks, and resources required for successful project outcomes.
  • Review job contract plans, scope, and specifications, survey information, sales sketches, estimates, and take-off sheets to identify opportunities and prepare proposals.
  • Prepare submittals per engineering standards, ensuring commitment dates are met, and review submittals with sales and delivery teams.
  • Support sales and project managers in surveys, application selection, layout of retrofit opportunities, and assessing customers' business objectives and strategies.
  • Collaborate with the software and graphics design teams to coordinate the development of the complete controls system.
  • Provide support to technicians during commissioning activities.
  • Work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with project managers, field technicians, solution design center, and field engineers to improve efficiency and support project deployment.
  • Prepare job drawings as required to meet deadlines.

MUST HAVES:

  • Bachelor's degree or College Diploma in Building Systems or a relevant field.
  • Proficiency in using AutoCAD.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC control system design.
  • Ability to obtain customer-required level 2 Security clearance.
