ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

• Monitor real-time mall volume patterns to ensure satisfactory service levels.

• Maintain production goals for completing work, while maintaining high quality.

• Receive mails coming into the location or from the post office

• Sort the mails or packages and scan the documents according to locations or departments

• Weigh each mail or package

• Deliver mails to departments and to individuals within the organization

• Ensure that mailroom never run short of materials required for posting mails such as postage stamps, envelopes, and markers

• Maintain a good relationship with courier agencies to ensure that they are readily available when the need for their services arises

• Answer teammates’ questions related to postage rates, safety, and duration of delivery

• May be responsible for procuring materials used by the mailroom

• Support service and production team in reaching overall agency revenue and retention goals.

• Maintains up to date knowledge of: departmental systems, related technology, and policies and procedures.

• Perform other duties, as assigned.
