We are looking for a passionate, high-energy Procurement Subregional Manager to help build the network that powers the world’s largest online services.

Within CO+I, the strategic Supply Chain teamis responsible fora supply chain that can meet the ever-growing growth of the Microsoft Cloud and our customers. We support a portfolio of complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-billion, multi-year datacenter construction and operations of those assets. We are looking to fill the critical role ofProcurement Director for the Americas region.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance or related field AND 7+ years experience in Data Science/Analytics, Finance, Project Management, Supply Chain, and/or Operations
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance or related field AND 9+ years experience in Data Science/Analytics, Finance, Project Management, Supply Chain, and/or Operations
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of driving sourcing strategyand/orsupply chain execution for multiple categories including mechanical and/or electrical.
  • 5+ years of experience as a people leader.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or financial field (engineering, finance, business administration, supply chain). Masters preferred.

Sourcing and Category Management M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $129,200 - $273,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $162,000 - $299,400 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation. Responsibilities

The Procurement Subregional Manageris responsible forand overall Site Projects team to meet the on-time delivery for a large, complex capital project.  This role will:

  • partner with workgroups to drive strategy development and compliance through supplierselection, supplierselectionand award, and contract management.
  • Manages the development and execution of multi-year sourcing strategies.
  • Leads the integration of business specifications and sourcing strategies into suppliermanagementprocesses for several complex purchasing areaswithin their region.
  • Leads cross-functional contract activities formultipepurchasing categories.
  • Drives business impact by applying subject matterexpertisein procurement processes and policies, and market intelligence to develop, and influence channel strategies cross-functionally and/or cross-regionally that reduce costs, mitigate risks, and enable scalable execution with consistency, accuracy, quality, and timeliness of delivery.
  • Partners with stakeholders toidentifybusiness threats.
  • Provides strategic oversight for improving existing, orestablishingnew, Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and/or defined milestones and deliverables, holds accountability and ownership of SLAs, and ensures compliance is cascaded down to the business.
  • Provides high-level negotiations and sets standards.
  • Provides guidance on contract execution and control processes for consistency across one or more purchasing categories.
  • Oversees pricing strategies for several complex purchasingcategories, anddevelops a business group foroptimalcross-functional stakeholder support and business assurance.

  • Directs supplier activity across multiple accounts and complexpurchasingcategories.

  • Negotiate Claims with the detailed understanding of the contractual conditions and partner with regional claims to settle or escalate.

Supplier Engagement & Performance:
