As a Data Center Architect, Technical Staff, Engineering Technologist, you will be responsible for developing next generation data center infrastructure solutions. You will work closely with DELL CTO, sales teams, and customers. These solutions include next generation data center technologies for mechanical, cooling, network, and power. You will have the opportunity to engage with high profile AI customers to optimize solutions for their applications. You will be responsible for driving innovation at data center level with new liquid cooling technologies and power
You will:
Manage multiple programs at once, present often to Dell leadership and external customers
Develop data center end to end solutions from Compute to the Customer Data Center. This will include traditional data center or modular data center architecture
Optimize cost, energy efficiency and performance from IT to the data center; design, develop, and implement cost effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems
Be responsible for driving the architecture of end-to-end solutions from server to data center, including air and liquid cooled servers, integrated rack solutions, power distribution and heat rejection
Demonstrate engineering rigor and leadership across various disciplines, mechanical, power, controls, and thermals, work with internal cross-functional teams, ODMs, and suppliers
15+ years of experience working knowledge of data center power distribution and thermal technologies from servers to the data center
Experience solving complex thermal / power problems at the data center level
Ability to go from customer problem statement, to concept, and implementation of complex data center level solutions; customer facing experience
Experience balancing competing priorities to achieve the best possible outcome for all stakeholders; excellent written and verbal communication skills presenting to leadership and customers
Deep knowledge of hardware and software interactions, and ability to apply this understanding to resolve issues quickly and effectively; innovate power-centric solutions for increasingly dense IT environments
