As a Senior ML engineer with the AGI team, you will be responsible for leading the development of novel algorithms and techniques to advance the state of Large Language Model (LLM) training. You will leverage Amazon’s heterogeneous data sources and large-scale computing resources to accelerate development of multimodal Large Language Models and Generative Artificial Intelligence solutions. You will collaborate closely with the Applied Scientists on LLM fine tuning experiments and prototypes to build automated training workflows.Key job responsibilities

- Work closely with Applied scientists to process data, scale machine learning models while optimizing
- Will work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software against aggressive schedules.
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
