Your role will involve leveraging your extensive technical expertise and practical experience in Distributed Systems to lead and enable solutions to leverage existing platforms and guide the team through the intricacies of functional definition, architecture, solution implementation, and integration within complex environments. With a proven track record in technical leadership, you'll be instrumental in driving high-quality products and ensuring the successful delivery of projects while effectively leading and mentoring team members.

Essential Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript
  • Build responsive frontend applications with React.js, Next.jsfor merchant and customer-facing experiences
  • Drive engineering excellence through robust CI/CD practices, comprehensive testing, and modern DevOps workflows
  • Own end-to-end quality of deliverables throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Leverage AI tools like Claude Code and GitHub Copilot to accelerate development andmaintainhigh-quality code
  • identifyand troubleshoot integration or technical issues in payment systems
  • Adapt swiftly to a fast-paced environment and manage continuously changing business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in designing distributed systems with hands-on developing and deploying end-to-end solutions.
  • Expert in one or moreprogramming/scriptinglanguages, preferably in Java.
  • Proficiency in data streaming technologies, No SQL databases, and database design.
  • Deep expertise in Node.js and TypeScript
  • Strong proficiency in React.js for frontend development
  • Experience with modernJavaScript/TypeScriptdevelopment practices
  • Jenkins/Hudson, Maven/Ant, RESTs experiences
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices
  • Cloud-native and serverless architecture experience (AWS/GCP preferred)
  • Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
  • GitHub Actions for workflow automation
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration
  • Strong communication, listening, interpersonal, influencing, and alignment driving skills; able to convey important messages clearly and compellingly.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to inspire, mentor, and empower team members to achieve their full potential.
