About the Role
In this role, you’ll partner with local operations and commercial teams worldwide, as well as Grocery & Retail leadership and product development teams. You'll lead high-impact projects aimed at enhancing merchant experiences, optimizing systems, and improving the processes and programs that power our platform.
This is a dynamic role that requires a blend of analytical rigor, strategic thinking, strong stakeholder management, and a passion for operational excellence. We’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and can adapt quickly while making meaningful, data-informed decisions.
What you’ll do
- Champion the merchant experience: Improve Uber’s data solutions and ensure they enhance the value we deliver to merchants
- Lead complex analyses: Conduct deep dives and root cause investigations across multiple data sources and stakeholders to uphold and improve platform excellence
- Drive strategy and insights: Translate analysis into actionable insights and clearly communicate recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams
- Manage impactful projects: Oversee and execute long-term initiatives that improve merchant engagement, efficiency, and satisfaction
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Build strong relationships across local operations, product, legal, commercial, and leadership teams to align on priorities and deliver results
- Launch products effectively: Lead the hands-on execution of key product rollouts, especially related to financial flows in Grocery and Retail, including testing, stakeholder approvals, and post-launch support
- Ensure continuous improvement: Monitor and iterate on product and process performance to deliver increasingly seamless merchant experiences
What you’ll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in business operations, analytics, or a similar role
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills—you know how to turn data into insights and action
- Experience solving complex, cross-functional challenges with a focus on scalability and efficiency
- Advanced skills in SQL and Excel/Google Sheets
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
- Experience with reporting and invoicing solutions
- Background in the grocery and/or retail industry is a strong plus
