The following areas of responsibility are essential to the satisfactory performance of this position by any incumbent. Any nonessential functions are assumed to be included in other related duties or assignments.

  • Identify, recruit, coach, and retain top talent for the Teva Neuroscience sales team
  • Develop expertise and coach others on regional business focus areas, including settings of care, payer and pull through opportunities, and flawless execution of the marketing strategy
  • Develop effective business plans to meet and exceed regional sales goals
  • Coach/train others on different settings of care to identify key business opportunities
  • Demonstrate a collaborative sales approach and coordinate efforts between sales leadership, other Teva sales teams, market access, sales operations, and training
  • Adhere to all Teva compliance guidelines, operate with integrity, and ensure the sales team adheres to these policies
  • Review weekly/monthly data reports to identify trends and make plans to address concerns
  • Coach teams on the execution of the defined call plan for each territory representative
  • Coach teams towards success from hire date onward, providing appropriate counseling, encouragement, and oversight to ensure effective execution of brand strategy
  • Spend 90+ days in the field, supporting local sales representatives

This area will cover GA, SC and south to Jacksonville, FL

Your experience and qualifications

Any equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.

Education/Certification/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • A minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical first line sales management or related people management or for internal candidates demonstrated leadership ability to manage teams required
  • A record of successfully achieving sales goals and building, coaching, and developing effective sales teams required
  • Experience in psychiatric therapeutic areas strongly preferred
  • Experience successfully launching products in the neurology space across multiple settings of care preferred
  • Injectable and in-office administration experience preferred

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Ability to interact with customers in live and virtual environments and proficiency with technology
  • Understanding of reimbursement coverage and pull through strategies as well as experience in all pertinent settings of business (CMHC, specialty pharmacy, private practice)
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid US driver's license and acceptable driving record required

U.S. new hires for customer facing roles will be required to complete all credentialing requirements for access to their customers’ targets within 60 days of their start date. Such credentialing requirements may include, but are not limited to, additional vaccinations and medical testing. Any request for an exception to the credentialing requirements will need to be approved by the national sales leader within the first 60 days of employment.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Extensive travel throughout the assigned region, which may include air travel and weekend or overnight travel.
