The Product and Test Engineering group is responsible for the various parts of product lifecycle of integrated SOCs used in automotive applications. We work with global cross functional teams in providing engineering test solutions to drive product to commercialization and production manufacturing.

Responsibilities for this position include developing product verification, test and qualification plans, performing silicon verification and characterization on ATE or System, drive debugs and failure analysis of silicon/test issues, test HW design, development and bring up, development and automation of test modules, qualify product/package to automotive specifications, correlate ATE to systems platform and perform data analytics to drive test cost/yield/quality improvements. Partner and drive all wafer and package level manufacturing activities by working closely with foundry and assembly houses.

Required for this Role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related field.

  • Knowledge in Semiconductor Physics and semiconductor manufacturing process.

  • Solid understanding of Electronics engineering fundamentals and VLSI concepts, digital, analog, mixed-signal, power management

  • Python coding

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer Science or related field.

  • 2+ years Hardware Engineering experience or related work experience.

  • Familiarity with design for test (DFT) techniques and structural tests such as Scan/ATPG, JTAG, and memory BIST is desirable.

  • Good understanding of reliability tests (HTOL, ESD, Latch Up, BHAST, etc.)

  • Good understanding of Automotive and Quality standards is a plus (AEC-Qxxx, ZVEI, ISO26262, IATF-16949, etc)

  • Knowledge of system level testing of high-speed peripherals – DDR/PCIE/USB/DP/etc is a plus.

  • Knowledge of power and thermal testing is a plus.

  • Hands on experience with Advantest 93K (ATE - Automated Test Equipment) is a plus.

  • Hands on experience with data analysis software (JMP, Exensio, etc) is a plus

  • Basic experience with Python/C++ is a plus

  • Ability to work with common test equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, time interval analyzer, logic analyzer, network analyzer, etc).

  • Ability to work independently and with good initiative to overcome technical challenges.

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills. Able to organize effectively and document work thoroughly while working with local and remote teams.

  • For NCG, prior relevant internship experience is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.

Pay range:

$94,200.00 - $141,200.00
