Key Responsibilities:

• Security Implementation:
  Assist in the design, implementation, and management of security controls for the Workday environment. Ensure security configurations and integrations are robust and effective.

• Risk Assessment:
  Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks within the Workday environment. Collaborate with the risk management team to develop and implement mitigation strategies.

• Access Management:
  Implement and manage role-based access controls (RBAC) to ensure appropriate access levels for users. Regularly review and update access permissions to maintain compliance and security.

• Incident Response:
  Assist in the investigation and response to security incidents related to the Workday environment. Participate in root cause analysis and remediation efforts.

• Policy Adherence:
  Ensure compliance with internal security policies and industry best practices. Contribute to the development and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and guidelines.

• Collaboration:
  Work closely with IT, HR, and other business units to understand security requirements and integrate security measures into business processes. Provide technical support and guidance to stakeholders.

• Continuous Improvement:
  Stay informed about the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices. Proactively suggest improvements to enhance the security posture of the Workday environment.

• SOX Compliance:
  Support SOX audit activities by ensuring Workday security controls are in place and functioning as intended. Prepare documentation and evidence to demonstrate compliance with SOX requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification

• At least 4 of experience in information security
  At least 3 years of Workday Security

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree

• 5+ years of experience in Workday security administration

• Workday Pro Certification in Security
  1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure or another cloud service

• 2+ years of experience in Agile practices

• Experience with managing security configurations with the Workday Financials module

New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $134,100 - $153,000 for Senior Platform Engineer San Francisco, California (Hybrid On-Site): $142,100 - $162,100 for Senior Platform EngineerThis role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
