What you will do will be varied day to day, but the key drivers for the role are:

  • Representing the firm at external client events and meetings; consulting with clients around best execution, market structure & post trade analytics.

  • Working within a joint Sales and Coverage team to deliver the EMEA regional sales strategy as well as coordinating across both Futures High and Low Touch, Clearing and Markets colleagues globally.

  • Prospecting new clients and pro-actively pitching Citi’s Electronic capabilities

  • Active client coverage responsibilities with senior client personnel, with the aim to drive maximum growth in revenue and profitability.

  • Daily platform maintenance, managing operational and technological risk and acting as a senior escalation point for tier one institutional client relationships.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.

What we will need from you:

  • It is expected that you will have working knowledge of e-execution platforms, advising clients on the optimal e-execution model and working closely with colleagues across Markets to increase franchise net profitability.

  • You will be working in a client facing role, with excellent Futures & Options product knowledge and an in-depth comprehension of vendor and broker trading platforms.

  • A broad understanding of market standard Algo’s and a technical understanding of Futures

  • A self-starter with excellent communication skills, strong analytical skills, and the ability to multitask.

The ideal candidate should have a proven intellectual grasp of the industry and demonstrate a successful track record in prior positions, with a pragmatic approach to ensure limited resources are directed appropriately. The role requires good interpersonal skills to establish the requisite rapport with top client accounts,
