DESCRIPTION

Key job responsibilities
- Wire Harness Fabrication and Assembly: Build, assemble, and integrate high-quality wire harnesses and electro-mechanical assemblies for critical aerospace applications. Ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.- Electrical Checkout and Testing: Perform electrical checkouts using custom setups and off-the-shelf equipment to ensure the integrity and reliability of harness assemblies. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as needed.Export Control Requirement:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- High school diploma or equivalent certification, with 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or technical environment, or an associate degree in engineering, math, or science.
- Proven experience in fabricating or inspecting wire harness and cable assemblies, with the ability to interpret complex schematics, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including soldering, wire stripping, contact crimping, contact insertion/removal, harness routing, and strain relief techniques.
- Ability to use various mechanical and precision tools, including measuring instruments.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- IPC-620 Certification or equivalent.
- Experience in the aerospace, aviation, or other high-reliability operating environments.
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- J-STD-001 Soldering Certification, NASA STD 8739.1, and NASA STD 8739.4 Certifications.
- Experience with electrical testing, troubleshooting, and use of custom and off-the-shelf equipment.
- Experience in a high-growth startup or large, well-established tech company.
- Familiarity with ISO standards, compliance issues, and government regulations such as ITAR.
