Recruitment and training of new ERT volunteers.
Collects volunteer information, availability, and skills, and maintains the volunteer database.
Keeps schedules and records of volunteers' work.
Develops policies, procedures, templates, standards, and documentation in support of the management and sustainability of the volunteer ERT program. Collaborates with a network of global ERT Program Managers to develop training appropriate for the volunteers.
Coordinates with SCLA teams to conduct emergency response exercises and drills for volunteer team members.
Performs regular reviews and updates to all program materials to ensure that the quality and accuracy of volunteer related program documentation is maintained.
Performs continuous monitoring of volunteer management and training activities to identify areas of opportunity for improvement, cost reduction, and enhanced operational efficiency.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
Will be trained in emergency response as related to SCLA emergency calls (Fire, Medical and HAZMAT). Response will be a secondary duty as assigned or emergency calls for service dictate.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 2-5 years of work experience in emergency response, emergency management, military, or public safety (Required).
BA/BS in Emergency Management, Business Resiliency Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) or related field. (Preferred).
Strong program management and execution skills (Required)
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Required)
1st Aid, AED and CPR Certified (or within a reasonable time from date of hire)
Paramedic or Emergency Medical Technician Basic (EMT-B) (Preferred)
Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
Adaptable, innovative and detail oriented.
Discipline to solve complex problems, resolve issues, and drive solutions that create win-win situations.
Ability to navigate complex organizations.
Demonstrated training and presentation experience (Required).
Candidates must have authorization to work in the USA (Required).
Incident Command System (ICS) course 100 and 200 required and on the job ICS experience (Preferred).
Knowledge of Federal and State safety andenvironmental-relatedregulations (Preferred).
Familiarity with Hazardous materials response Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) “levels of protection” (Preferred).
California Specialized Training Institute (CSTI) Hazmat Technician, Industry Technician or Fire Department Firefighter I (Preferred).
Experience in semiconductor manufacturing environment or equivalent high hazard environment (Preferred).
Applicant must pass the Applied Materials ERT pre offer, annual and bi-annual physicals.
