What you'll do:
- Work cross functionally between leading the Analytics track, supporting data science and engineering division within the team and partnering with different business teams such as Luminate, Finance and Health and Wellness to provide support using advanced analytics, model building and data engineering methodologies and tools.
- Develop internal and external business specific Key Performance Indicator metrics using Spark, Hive SQL, and Scala; Automate and productionize large scale executive dashboards for active tracking of current state using Tableau and Power BI.
- Use advanced analytics and descriptive statistics to implement exploratory data analysis on large amount of data to identify opportunity areas to improve precision, coverage, and completeness; perform impact analysis to identify risk vs gain for each new feature or experiments; conduct quality assurance analysis on existing and new machine learning model production releases; perform root cause analysis (RCA) for identifying bugs in the production pipeline and implementing best practices to avoid reoccurrence; and dive deep into the data to understand and formulate actionable insights to aid the team/business in making data driven decisions.
- Design, develop and deploy new features into the production pipeline to improve the precision, coverage, and completeness of the data using Spark SQL, Scala, and Apache Airflow and build and automate processes for generating large scale business specific tables for downstream consumption using BQ.
- Use large language models on large amount of data to identify noisy or invalid records and formulate new course of action for improving the data quality using Python and SQL.
- Use predictive and descriptive analytics to create feedback loop for the production models to be more precise using Spark and Hive SQL.
What you’ll bring:
- Master’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science Engineering, or related field and 2 years’ experience working in large scale enterprise software development environment; OR Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related field and 5 years’ of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment.
- Programming language including Java or Scala.
- Coding in an object-oriented programming language including C++ or Python.
- Writing advanced SQL queries and understanding of relational database.
- Experience using Tableau, Power BI, Looker or ThoughtSpot to build executive dashboards.
- Building pipelines using tools including Alteryx, Apache Airflow or Jenkins.
- Big data systems including Hadoop, Hive, Spark or Presto to build out a highly reliable, performant, easy to use software systems.
- Coding using languages including Pyspark and Jupyter notebook.
- Using tools including Git or GitHub for engineering excellence.
- Building machine learning models including unsupervised and supervised models, clustering models, xgboost model, and knn regressor in R or Python.
