Your key responsibilities

  • Performing financial analysis, including data analysis and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Maintaining a detail-oriented approach in all financial analyses, leveraging analytical skills to identify trends and variances.
  • Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data by implementing verification processes, cross-referencing information, and conducting thorough reviews.
  • Maintain effective internal control frameworks to ensure compliance with policies and regulations, and mitigate risks associated with financial operations.
  • Developing and maintaining KPI reporting frameworks to track performance metrics and ensure alignment with project and organisational goals.
  • Developing PowerPoint presentations to effectively communicate financial analyses and insights for client deliverables.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of project deliverables.
  • Collaborating with internal auditors to address and resolve audit queries promptly, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Utilising strong interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams, promoting a cohesive working environment.
  • Effectively managing client expectations by ensuring that all deliverables are completed on time and meeting critical deadlines.
  • Providing training and mentoring junior members of the team.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
  • Attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure
  • Willingness to learn and maintain a positive attitude

  • ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification
  • 5 years proven relevant and transferrable work experience

  • Demonstrable organisation and self-management skills
  • Experience working with large data sets and high volume transactions
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
