As a Cognyter you will:

  • Sell to new and existing public sector customers subscription-based solutions
  • Build and deliver compelling commercial messaging and models across Cognyte's offerings
  • Work with customers to develop transition plans including identifying potential roadblocks early and recommending actionable solutions to ensure seamless adoption of new models
  • Support the acquisition of new subscription-based customers by leveraging your deep technical expertise and understanding of the defense, intelligence, and military sectors.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, finance, and customer success, to ensure a unified approach to achieving revenue targets and customer satisfaction.

For that mission you’ll need:

  • Proven track record in sales with at least +5 years of experience in sales of subscription-based models (for on-prem, VPC, SaaS, XaaS), ideally in a high-tech, B2B/B2G environment.
  • Extensive experience selling into defense, intelligence, and/or military sectors globally.
  • Deep understanding of subscription models, including for on-prem/VPC deployments and the ability to explain their benefits clearly to customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue through successful sales strategies and relationship building.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a deep understanding of the sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling proposals and presentations.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with internal teams and customers, offering solutions and recommendations based on a deep understanding of customer needs.
