We're looking for a Lead Process Equipment Engineer in Cincinnati, OH who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. Join us and you’ll have the chance to work on Life Science projects including Drug Substance, Drug Product, Fill/Finish, Single Use, Fermentation, and similar biopharma facilities. You will be accountable for budget, schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks related to equipment design and purchase, as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations. In this role, you will act as the lead engineer of a highly interactive team to establish process equipment needs on small to large-scale Biopharmaceutical and Biotech projects. As a Lead, you will lead a team of equipment engineers in the specifying, bidding, purchasing, and managing of the design and delivery of process equipment for our clients. Additional responsibilities may include vendor inspections and witnessing of equipment Factory Acceptance Tests. You will also have the chance to utilize your technical expertise mentoring junior team members to help your team discover what drives them, nurturing their purpose and guiding them forward. Your role keeps our company connected and we’ll support you with what you need to be successful.

Here's what you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

• At least 10+ years of experience working on Life Science / Manufacturing projects

• Demonstrated ability to lead a small team of engineers

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Working knowledge of main types of process equipment: i.e. pressure vessels, pumps, heat exchangers, centrifuges.

• Familiarity with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code and ASME piping code (B31.3)

• Familiarity with ASME BPE (Bioprocessing Equipment)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas

• Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base

• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
