In this role you will work with an extensive stakeholder group, including our growing team of 140+ Associates and various internal teams. You will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our team, including training others around our Associate booking process and being the main point of contact for query resolution.

Your role will ensure that our function is:

  • Delivering an excellent time processing and payment experience to our Associate Community. Ensuring they remain engaged and committed to partnering with EY to service our Clients
  • Continuously improving. You will proactively support us in identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve our operating model
  • Providing the business with accurate commercial information and insight into Associate usage, managing the processes which enable this to happen

As our Associate Experience Senior Consultant, your role will encompass:

  • Code Management– Tracking Associate bookings and enabling access to Engagement and Rate codes within Associate timesheets
  • Timesheet Validation– Approving timesheets within our SLA, proactively resolving queries, providing thematic analysis and feedback to the business on process effectiveness and training requirements
  • Outstanding Timesheet Management -Tracking overdue timesheets, supporting Associates to overcome barriers to timesheet submission, ensuring EY are able to recognise revenue/hours as swiftly as possible
  • Data Uploads and Invoice processing– Where manual action is required, you will facilitate this to ensure all relevant systems receive and process required information
  • Periodic Data Reconciliation– Supporting the business to analyse ‘forecast Vs actual’ Associate performance, reviewing discrepancies and working with a broad range of stakeholders to resolve data queries
  • Main Point of Contact / Query Resolution- Associates and internal teams will access your support to resolve queries related to Associate finance operations. You will need to triage and resolve, maintaining high levels of customer service to all involved
  • Training– Ensuring colleagues understand all operational processes in order to enable Associate bookings, timesheet submission and revenue recognition
  • Associate Data Management– Ensuring all systems and platform which store / process Associate data are accurate and up to date
  • Ad Hoc Associate Projects- Supporting the Associate Director where additional capacity is required to coordinate activities e.g. Surveys, Events, Infographics


To qualify for the role, you must have

  • At least one years’ experience in a commercial or operations environment that can demonstrate adaptability to this role
  • Experience demonstrating an analytical and detail orientated approach to complex tasks involving financial data
  • Advanced Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook skills. The willingness and aptitude to rapidly learn new systems, tools and processes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to think proactively, andeffectively prioritise activities
  • The ability to exercise good judgement, knowing when to flag issues and when to deal with independently
  • Strong stakeholder management capability, to effectively influence internal stakeholders and engage with Associates
