Description
This RF Hardware Design Engineer will: - Architect RF front end designs to realize our wireless product requirements- Perform RF system lineup analysis to ensure our system designs meet industry and internal standards- Create and maintaining specifications for RF components and drive component development with vendors- Be involved with schematic capture and PCB Design- Integrate our cellular radio platforms into Apple products
Minimum Qualifications
  • BS with 3+ years of directly relevant experience
  • Experience with radio hardware design and/or RF component design
  • Familiarity with the challenges of development for high-volume manufacturing.
  • Hands on experience with RF circuits and hardware on the lab bench.
  • Understanding of core technologies and physics that drive innovative RF performance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficient in wireless communications standards, wireless technology and communications market trends
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator, proven track record of working in a dynamic multi-functional team
  • Well organized and have the ability to be flexible in a changing work environment
  • Cellular Handset experience
  • Experience with RF simulation tools (ADS, HFSS, Matlab)
  • Experience with Python for test setup automation and data analysis
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
