Minimum qualifications:
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in facilities within a critical environment or working at a journeyman level.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working in data centers, hospitals, power plants, or transmission operations.
- Experience with high-voltage electrical substations, or other mission-critical facility maintenance/operational fields.
- Knowledge of the electrical mechanical systems used in data center environments (i.e., feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, ATS/STS/PDU/PMM/CRAC/air handling units, and chillers).
- Ability to communicate with contractors who perform maintenance or upgrade work on the data center systems.
- Ability to learn and address issues as they arise.
- Ability to work non-standard hours, including working weekends, holidays and on shift-based schedules as needed.
