In this role, you will:
This role will help ERAI team to enhance risk intelligence capabilities and toolsets. Specific responsibilities of the position include but not limited to
- Maintain and enhance “Risk in the News” end to end NLP pipeline.
- Provide ad hoc support for risk trend analysis using news analytics.
- Perform analysis to extract emerging trends from historical data and textual data.
- Support the production for other ERAI risk monitoring and reporting packages.
- Extract, transform and load data from external website as well as from internal databases, validate integrity and prepare datasets for statistical analysis and machine learning
- Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives, and delivering insight and decision strategies within analytics and reporting, and contribute to large-scale planning related to Risk Analytics
- Review and analyze moderately complex data aggregation, forecasting, reporting, and programming models
- Be responsible for process production, data reconciliation, and model documentation in alignment with policy governance
- Resolve data, production, business modeling, and lead team to meet Risk Analytics deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of risk reporting policies, modeling strategies, procedures, regulatory requests, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, experienced managers, compliance, and technology to resolve modeling, forecasting, and production issues, and achieve analytic and reporting goals
- Lead projects, teams, and mentor less experienced staff
- Partner with cross enterprise risk analysts in development of common modeling strategies
Required Qualifications:
• 4+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and3+ yearsof reporting experience, analytics experience, or a combination of both
- Excellent programming skills in Python, data analysis and ML package such as pandas, pytorch.
- Excellent programming skills ins SQL
- Experience with NLP, specifically embedding, sentiment analysis, Document classification techniques, Transformer, LLM.
- Front end development experience is a plus
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to extract insight from data and communicate with non-technical audience.
