What You’ll DoWhat You’ll Bring
- Assign daily task, manage work schedule, and set direction for the Tool & Die Specialists
- Train and develop individual teams to skill level objectives
- Interact with Production, Manufacturing and Design Engineering to align with set goals
- Develop and create standard procedures and methods as well as maintain updates as required
- Project manage repair, refurbishment, and engineering change implementation
- Assist with budget development and reporting
- Identify and maintain spare parts inventory and tracking system
- Completion of a Tool & Die apprenticeship program or equivalent with 5+ years experience in leadership
- 5+ years hands-on experience working in automotive die maintenance and repair (stamping dies, plastic injection molds and/or high pressure die cast molds)
- Aluminum stamping or structural die casting experience is a plus
- Project management experience and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to motivate in high pressure situations and develop individualized development plans to improve weaknesses and leverage strengths
- Good overall people management skill
- Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal
