• To lead and manage a group of RODI outsource team and ensure site operation complying to all legal requirements and inspections by local authorities are fully complied.
• To supervise and monitor the performance of the contractors. To make sure WESTERN DIGITAL’s rules and regulations are obeyed by the contractors.
• Liaison with engineering / production personnel on the RODI quality and consumption.
• Management of reliability, quality, cost and safety in RODI system.
• To troubleshoot and solve problems of RODI related issues at plant and at production floor.
• To manage the RODI calibration of all the related equipment / instruments and unit operation of the plant.
• To lead, manage and provide timely report for facility operation of RODI monitoring parameters.
• To ensure that IMS System or any certifications are complied at all time.
• To prepare, maintain and update the up-to-date documentation for RODI.
• To plan, monitor and execute preventive maintenance for RODI.
• To involve, coordinate and follow-up on upgrading projects. Involvement in the planning, installation, commissioning and ensuring the project being carried out according to the requirements spelled out.
• Continuous improvement at all RODI related areas. Monitoring of treatment process performance & plant optimization.

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other equivalent Engineering

• At least 3 years of working experience in a related field is required.
• Able to manage routine workload and ad-hoc projects with minimal supervision.
• Able to work independently as well as a team member.
• Dynamic & resourceful person with good analytical, organizational & interpersonal skills.
• Able to converse and write well in English.
• Dynamic and strategic thinking during day-to-day activities
• Candidate must be hard working, self-driven, integrity, good communication skill and has a teamwork capability.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, initiative, independent, good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge / Trained in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and BCMS 22301 standards will be an added advantage.
