Risk Solution Architect, specializing in Credit, Market, or Liquidity risk within the wholesale lending solutions domain. As our Solutions Architect you'll play a key role in driving solution architecture design, evaluation and selection, buy vs. build decisions, and early-phase project estimates which contribute to the business case that ensure financial stability and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement comprehensive risk frameworks that address Credit, Market, or Liquidity risks within the lending context.
- Understand and help implement risk frameworks within the overall Risk Appetite Framework
- Work closely with the Portfolio Managers, Treasury, Risk Managers, Finance and O&T.
- Utilize Java, Python, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies to build scalable and efficient risk management solutions.
- Ensure seamless integration of risk management solutions with existing lending platforms and systems.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Risk Solutions topics, advising stakeholders on best practices and emerging trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in risk management, with a focus on Credit, Market, Treasury or Liquidity risk within the lending industry.
- Knowledge of financial products, pricing methodologies, risk management, Basel/CCAR regulatory requirements.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Python, and microservices architecture.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and understanding of cloud-native development methodologies.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements related to risk management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex risk scenarios.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
