As a Software Engineer II, you will work independently and apply subject matter knowledge in Web/Applications Development. You will be involved in developing new solutions and enhancing existing solutions for our users. You will be involved in converting high level design specifications into low level design and implementing them.
As a Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for:
- Developing ReST APIs using Java/Spring Boot
- Developing applications focused on usability, performance, scalability, and robustness.
- Collaborating with other engineering teams to identify system dependencies and work on implementations under strict product release schedules.
- Understanding the business domain deeply and working closely with business stakeholders.
- Converting high level design specifications into low level design and implement it along with unit test cases
- Enhancing and improving existing applications.
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 2-4 years of experience and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Build server-side applications and APIs with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and ORM frameworks like Hibernate or JPA.
- Apply excellent SQL knowledge with familiarity in Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
- Design and solve complex problems, showcasing expertise in algorithms and data structures.
- Develop RESTful APIs; bonus if you build responsive UIs with JS, TypeScript, Angular, HTML5, CSS, and SCSS.
- Leverage knowledge of container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes while utilizing Git and Agile methodologies effectively.
