Work independently and proficiently on multiple assignments, ensuring high quality and speed and serve as a subject matter expert, mentoring and coaching junior risk analysts or data scientists.

Risk Mitigation:Manage and mitigate Venmo financial loss caused by fraud risk by working on multiple assignments in all project areas.

Data Management:Build robust risk anomaly detection systems and critical risk signals to identify fraud patterns at an early stage, seek improvements within defined tasks, evaluate, and execute improvement ideas from supervisor and partner with key stakeholders to design new risk platforms, ensuring better quality of risk strategies.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.

Technical Skills:Strong proficiency in analytical tools and languages such as SQL, Python, Hive, BigQuery, Machine learning and data visualization tools (e.g., Tabeau, Power BI).

Education:Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Statistics, Mathematics, or closely related quantitative discipline plus two (2) years of experience in or two (2) years of experience in the field of data analysis or statistical analysis

OR bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Statistics, Mathematics or closely related quantitative discipline plus three (3) years of experience in the or three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of data analysis or statistical analysis
