• Supervise audit procedures performed by Assurance Analysts
• Manages the administration of audit documentation as directed by the client service team
• Performs detail review of audit documentation prepared by Assurance Analysts
• Documents clearly and accurately the execution of audit procedures as defined by the engagement objectives, and planned audit approach as per the EY audit methodology
• Follows through on engagement team requests in a timely fashion, and manages expectations regarding the timing of audit work-related deliverables
• Timely communicates identified exceptions or non-reoccurring situations to the client service delivery team for resolution
• Ensures quality in delivering client service by supervising the execution of the audit procedures as defined and informing the client service team of the status of audit procedures
• Discusses moderately complex accounting and auditing issues with engagement team. Analyzes evidence, reaches conclusions, interprets and applies standards, identifies non-compliance while applying a balanced view of all client matters.
• Follows well-defined processes, procedures and protocols as defined by EY assurance systems and leadership. Unusual non-reoccurring situations are discussed with client service team members
• Assists Assurance Analysts in reaching their full potential by training and developing them, willingly addressing questions, contributing constructively as a coach and providing timely on-the-job feedback
• Works with team members to set goals and responsibilities as it relates to their specific work on their team
• Senior Analyst are required to perform the essential functions of the job and the job workload may change depending on cycles of busy season


• Experience working with accounting and auditing concepts
• Strong communication, facilitation and presentation skills
• Experience supervising others in the context of accounting and/or auditing
• Ability to monitor and manager project milestone deadlines and budget requirements
• Ability to analyze technical matters / issues related to accounting guidelines and principles
• Ability to perform research and write technical accounting memos
• Confidence working with a remote team and ability to oversee and direct resources in a manager service environment
• Attention to detail and diligence in resolution of issues
• Ability to plan ahead and anticipate potential problems before they arise
• Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
• Ability to learn new software tools
• A bachelor’s degree in an accounting, finance or business discipline
• 2+ years of accounting or auditing experience
• Eligibility for US CPA licensure in your work state
• Proven project management skills
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to management
• The flexibility to constantly learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment


• Experience leading the planning, execution and reporting on audits of financial statements applying US GAAP

What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $48,000 to $98,200. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $57,500 to $111,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
