Your Way to Impact:
Merchant experience is essential to PayPal's growth. You will help expand upon our robust toolset to create exceptional visibility into the experiences of our Merchants, ensuring we proactively identify and eliminate issues that can negatively impact their business.
You will hire, train, motivate, and manage a talented 24x7 team of engineers, giving them the processes and knowledge they need to make a consistent and tangible impact for our merchants.
Your Day to Day:
People Management and shift management.
Running agile ceremonies for the development work done by the team
Analyzing team processes and data to identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
Prioritizing escalations and ensuring timely updates.
Communication to leadership about ongoing issues and status.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with the merchant development organizations, to stay on top of new opportunities and changes.
What you need to Bring:
Proven track record running an SLA focused 24x7 operations function.
Software development background and strong knowledge of agile.
Sincerity, Empathy, and the ability to keep a team engaged and highly motivated.
New ideas and a passion to build a high performing team within a new function in PayPal SRE
