Extensive partnering and coordination with business and functions stakeholders across the 1st and 2nd lines will be required to be successful. It will also require remaining engaged with the evolving Citi MCA framework and partnering to ensure regulatory requirements are integrated into the new framework.
The role will be accountable for raising risks, developing the ‘Path to Green’ and delivering on those remediation plans. This includes identification of interdependencies and necessary alignment with other Consent Order programs and BAU initiatives so that execution plans are executedefficiently.
KeyResponsibilities
- Lead a team of resources to support accomplishing the various tasks outlined below, with particular emphasis on the CARAM program.
- For each Compliance program, define USPB target state, success criteria, and detailed execution plans, considering related and interdependent elements. Simplification and efficiency must also be considered.
- Timely and high quality execution of plans to meet all defined USPB owned Milestones, Deliverables, and Activities, accelerating timelines as possible.
- Regularly monitor progress, identifying risks and watch items and building/executing necessary remediation plans. Address milestone/Deliverable/Activity delays. Ensure transparent communication with Program Groups and USPB Transformation leaders.
- Proactively engage and provide credible challenge with Enterprise, Business, and USPB stakeholders, while building strong working relationships.
- Identify and engage necessary owners and SMEs for each milestone/deliverable/activity required and ensure all those involved understand what is expected. Monitor their involvement and progress.
- Ensure necessary scoping, planning, artifact builds, and closure activities are completed to ensure validation of Milestones and Deliverables we own or feed into.
- Demonstrate risk reduction and impact, quantifying as possible.
- Ensure the official Consent Order plan reflects work required of USPB.
- Communicate plans, progress, and risks with USPB business and functional teams, managing expectations and anticipating concerns. Perform stakeholder analysis to determine the forums best suited for the various audiences.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with Transformation Team colleagues.Proactively identify and share learnings that could be applicable to other workstreams. Take a leadership role in designing and implementing cross Transformation efforts.
Qualifications:
- Consistent track record of having worked as a Program or Project Manager, or delivering large, strategic cross-functional projects with experience on Compliance Programs.
- Specific subject matter expertise regarding Compliance Risk as well as knowledge of key laws, rules and regulations applicable to USPB products. Operational Risk knowledge/experience is a plus.
- Excellent influential leadership skills, with evidence of collaborating across large organizations to mobilize and motivate delivery in a co-operative working environment. Regularly seek diverse perspectives and skill sets.
- Demonstrated ‘take ownership’ mindset, with the ability to think strategically and creatively problem solve, considering simplification and efficiency principles.

- 15+ years Financial Services experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; advanced education is a plus.
