Minimum Qualifications
  • Strong Software Development Engineering skills including Design, Programming in C, C++ or Objective C and Debugging
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer/Electrical/Electronics/Communications Engineering, or equivalent majors
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working experience with Open source Software is a plus
  • Experience in developing frameworks and APIs is a plus
  • Working knowledge of IOT protocols such as IEEE 802.15.4, Bluetooth, Zigbee, Z-Wave, WiFi, LoRa or Thread Mesh is a plus.
  • Home automation experience is a plus (Bluetooth, Zigbee, z-Wave, Thread Mesh)
  • Experience in writing software for multi-threaded environments
  • Development experiences with real-time operating systems
  • Proven track record of project deliverables from concept to commercialization
  • Passionate and curious with a focus on solving everyday problems in innovative ways
  • Obsess over the customer experience
  • Communicates effectively in a concise and clear manner
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
