Responsibilities
- Act as the primary project manager for all eDiscovery matters.
- Administer the entire Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) lifecycle.
- Serve as the central point of contact, collaborating closely with both internal and external partners.
- Ensure clear communication and seamless delivery of eDiscovery services.
- Maintain detailed documentation and processing of legal requests.
- Leverage innovative technology to support data and device collections, processing, and analysis.
- Maintain accuracy and efficiency throughout the entire eDiscovery process.
Required Skills/Experience
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in eDiscovery, with a strong understanding of the entire EDRM lifecycle. Industry-specific certifications (e.g., Relativity Certified Administrator, ACEDS, CDFE, etc.) preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex eDiscovery projects from inception to completion, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
- Proficient knowledge of Relativity and familiarity with a range of eDiscovery and forensic software (e.g., Nuix, Cellebrite, Google Vault, etc.).
- Working knowledge of data collection, data storage, and chain of custody standard methodologies.
- Familiarity with system administration on macOS, Microsoft Windows, Linux/Unix operating systems, and mobile device management (Android, iOS).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external partners.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills, with the ability to independently manage and report on tasks.
- Ability to track metrics, analyze data, and provide regular reports to management.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Highly adaptable and able to respond to changing priorities and time lines.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Basic understanding of legal concepts and procedures related to eDiscovery.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Previous experience working in a corporate legal department, law firm, or eDiscovery vendor environment is preferred.
- Bachelor degree in a related field
