As a LSSD – Lead Service System Designer for PCS (Patient Care Solutions) – Platform, you will be accountable for defining and driving service strategy & validation for all the platform programs.Responsibilities

Your Day at GEHC:

  • Conceptualize and define ideal state for serviceability for PCS Platform programs
  • Coordinate service strategy across both on prem and cloud based solutions
  • Work with PCS Product teams to ensure PCS Platform service roadmap meet their service needs
  • Develop PCS Platform service roadmap and work with LSIs to ensure platform releases align appropriately.
  • Work with LSIs (Lead Service Integrator) to align & implement service strategy, serviceability features
  • Custodian of serviceability requirements, ensure design integrity and progress through visible metrics
  • Prepare service strategy and sign off for each milestone
  • Collaborate with field service organizations for deployment readiness.
  • Establish service scorecard to ensure service deliverables for program milestones are on track.
  • Ensure end user and service persona training content and process readiness
  • Work with third party OEM partners for service strategy and readiness. Owns the service level agreements for different solution elements.
  • Sync up with engineering team, Lead System Designer on progress of software development through daily standups and with Program manager on program updates/critical deliverables
Quality Specific Goals:
  • Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
  • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
  • Drive compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before approving Design Control FDRs and NPI program milestones
  • Identify continuous improvement activities by initiating the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives
  • Responsible for the validation of all GxP relevant applications and maintaining the validated state of those applications
  • Aware of and comply with the change management work instruction
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
  • A minimum of 10 years of professional experience
  • Experienced in end-to-end product development including installed base management
  • Strong knowledge on engineering design principles, architectures and advancements in service engineering concepts and technologies
  • Experience in software programming for cloud or on-premise solutions
  • Demonstrated problem solving techniques
Desired
  • Outstanding communication, facilitation and influencing skills
  • Ability to influence others and lead small teams.
  • Experience of leading initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
  • Design For Reliability (DFR) or Design For Service (DFS) experience
  • Hand-son serviceability feature implementation knowledge
  • Experience working with platforms
  • Experience working in a Service or Systems Engineering team
  • Experience in working with Agile teams and Quality Management Systems
