As a sales representative within third party distribution sales team (SIDM), you will take part of covering distributors (securities houses) for structured products third party distribution. Product knowledge in cross-asset (Equity and Fixed Income Currencies and Commodities) structured products and Over the Counter (OTC) derivatives are required. Experience in Quantitative Investable Strategies Index (QIS) is a plus. Team functions are composed with institutional flow/non flow sales, distribution flow/non flow sales and marketing function for the products.

Job responsibilities

  • Develop and establish relationships with key distributors for J.P. Morgan’s products
  • Maintain and development of key client relationships
  • Execute all products we are responsible for distribution on a daily basis
  • Navigate in these products effectively among a broad range of clients (Securities houses)
  • Bring a collaborative approach working with our business partners in trading, structuring and research to provide comprehensive client coverage across the platform
  • Take a consultative approach to working with existing clients and target prospects to assess and address their individual needs

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience in third party distribution sales with a strong track record and distribution of structured products or 3+ years of experience in FICC structuring
  • Product knowledge of structured products and OTC derivatives
  • Critical thinker and driver of trade concepts and themes for clients
  • Strong understanding of fundamental product knowledge and market structure
  • Strong team player that partners well with principals of the platform including Structuring, Trading and Research
  • Proficiency in Bloomberg, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Effective communication skills both in English and Japanese (speaking & written)
  • In depth understanding of the new regulations and versatility to new market environment
