Your key responsibilities

Technical Excellence

Skills and attributes

• Treasury Accounting : Work on IFRS9 accounting covering hedge accounting, derivative accounting and treasury products
• Financial Accounting: Oversee accounting treatment, accounting schema and reporting for complex financial instruments. Review journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting. Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, controls, and accounting treatments.
• Financial Reporting : Lead the preparation and review of financial statements and disclosures in accordance with IFRS.
• EU FINREP : Experience with EU FINREP regulatory reporting that is aligned with IFRS financial statements.
• Variance Analysis : Conduct detailed QoQ/MoM variance analysis at product level, counterparty level etc. to enable management reporting and audit readiness
• Accounting Schema Set Up: Design and implement accounting schemas for new products and transactions. Conduct impact assessments on accounting and reporting processes based on business requirements and regulatory changes.
• Technical Skillset : Strong proficiency with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Oracle Financials) and advanced Excel skills. Familiarity with financial reporting tools and the ability to participate in system upgrades and testing.
• Change Management : Ability to support and lead projects at user end, by providing BRD, reviewing test results, performing UAT and providing Go-live sign offs.
• Process Automation & Standardization : Contribute to the automation of accounting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention. Drive the standardization of accounting schemas and accounting practices across multiple legal entities
• Team Leadership & Development : Manage and mentor a high-performing finance team, conducting regular performance appraisals and career development planning.

To qualify for the role you must have

Chartered Accountant (Preferred), ACCA or MBA

8-10 years of relevant experience
