Some of your key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage the Experience Management Team of a competency or competencies, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
  • Become strategic partner to enable the competency to achieve their objectives by providing key insights with respect to people and performance.
  • Develop and implement resource management strategies aligned with organizational objectives, ensuring efficient allocation and utilization of resources across projects.
  • Lead the workforce planning, bench management and capacity planning exercises for the competency or competencies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders both offshore and onshore to understand project requirements, resource demands, and constraints, ensuring appropriate staffing and skill alignment.
  • Driving resource planning initiatives, including analyzing resource availability, forecasting future needs, and identifying potential risks or bottlenecks.
  • Monitoring, analyzing resource utilization and allocation, optimizing it across projects and driving improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee resource conflict resolution, working closely with project managers and stakeholders to find suitable resolutions and ensure project success.
  • Collaborate with the function head to develop and implement workforce strategies that align with the organisation’s overall business objectives.
  • Lead the execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time, as per scope and plan.
  • Drive function transformation projects, optimizing processes and people charter to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Influence function leads within and outside the immediate function, at times without formal authority and basis relationships to drive consensus towards common objectives and goals.
  • Work closely with the function head to monitor and track critical impact initiatives.
  • Support function leader with benchmarking efforts, market insights & best practices to stay competitive.

Workforce Optimization:

  • Drive optimization initiatives for workforce planning / resource management teams to create enablers to ensure seamless resource management / WFM functioning.
  • Implement innovative central enablers that resource managers can leverage to improve employee engagement, retention, and productivity.
  • Define goals, key KPIs and metrics, track the key functional KPIs centrally and monitor performance data for performance reviews and decision making
  • Monitor key function performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.

Skills and attributes for success:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 18 years of experience in workforce management, resource management, human resources or a related area, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Ability to influence across levels, in cases even without having the direct reporting lines and authority.
  • Innovative thinker with a continuous improvement mindset.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Proven track record of driving strategic initiatives and transformations within a large, complex organization.
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end workforce management function, encompassing workforce planning, resource management, optimization, and resource allocation principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven culture.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, making data driven decisions and performance metrics.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, change management, and process improvement.
  • Experience with internal communications and branding initiatives.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs.
