Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable, resilient and performant distributed systems.

• Ensure consistency and quality through code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions aligned with the business goals.

• Engage and collaborate with internal and third-party developers to improve their solution and accelerate the adoption of API best practices, promoting seamless integration with eBay and driving more business outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

• Major in Computer Science or related field.

• Minimum of 3 -5 years of experience in software development.

• Proven solid experience in software development using Java, Spring, with a strong understanding of REST and GraphQL API design principles.

• Solid coding experience and skills. Hands-on micro service architecture experiences.

• Familiarity with API testing tools and CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems independently.

• Self driven, can-do attitude and aggressive to achieve the goals.

• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a global team environment.

• Strong ability to understand and articulate both technical and business issues with peers, management, and external teams.

• Customer first attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Solid experience in messaging/streaming applications (Kafka) and popular DBs.

• Experience on Cloud platforms (Docker/K8s).

• Experience with AliExpress/Amazon developer ecosystem and public API is a plus

• Knowledge of API catalogs and metadata management systems

• Understanding of generative AI concepts and techniques is a plus
