Experience;

  • Team lead or management in a similar role
  • Demonstrable track record of achievement and over-achievement in a business development/inside sales role
  • IT and preferably Network & Cyber Security background

Responsibilities

  • Help coach the team to research customers, identify decision makers, educate prospects and qualify buying interest and sense of urgency.
  • Ensure that the team meets and exceeds daily and weekly call goals as well as deliver a high quantity of well qualified sales opportunities.
  • Follow up on all team outcomes with Sales and creation of opportunity with pipeline on Salesforce.
  • Extensive use of CRM (preferably salesforce.com) to ensure goals are on target and the creation of reports where requested.
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing and other Fortinet business functions in the development of strategic sales approaches.
  • Articulate Fortinet’s value proposition to decision-makers across multiple industries to assess buying interest.
  • Learn and demonstrate a fundamental understanding of Fortinet’s technology – and clearly articulate capabilities and advantages to prospective customers to successfully manage and overcome prospect objections.

  • Fluent in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems (preferably Salesforce.com)
  • Ability to demonstrate an aptitude for technology.
  • Demonstrated success in prospecting into Enterprise companies desired.
  • Proven capabilities and skills in account development, opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call structure/control, and time and territory management desired.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast paced environment.

Education and Experience

1-3 years in a sales focused role or similar position in an IT company desired; customer oriented background required (sales, support, customer service).
